If it works out timing wise I would also like to assist in the demo there.

I could not get the attachment to open. Don't know what I did wrong. But Re: Kris's comment, most likely we would have two lathes (three max) and probably a grinder which would be used infrequently so her point is well taken, and probably there will be multiple circuits as long as we don't use just one outlet for two lathes or two adjoining ones. We can practice good extension cord usage by making sure we use one cord per lathe and use different outlets.
As I recall when I demoed at VA, we had no power issues.
Thanks for your work on this, Jim
John

Jim,
The proposal looks pretty good. One thing I might add is that those 6 outlets cannot be on the same circuit if it is 120 volt (Duane, how many circuits are needed?). We do have at our disposal a junction box that runs off of 220 volt and then can provide power to those 6 lathes.

Good afternoon, I was able to speak to Ft McCoy about trying for a Demo/hands-on event on post. I was asked to write up an informal proposal for them to look at. I have drafted this rough proposal and ask for any additions or revisions needed since I have not had a chance to participate in a demo, so I may be missing a piece or two. Please suggest your revision on the thread versus the attachment so I don't have multiple version floating about.
Many Thanks
