[crw-talk] Boom

Members,

Regarding Bob's email of a few days ago I think we have quite a few
items necessary for building camera boom systems for over the turning
and the tailstock views on hand including the high end stuff, the sturdy
tripods and accessories; all we have to do is delegate someone to look
at what we have, determine from one of several sources such as what
James found out at a pen turning conference recently or the AAW
reference Bob R. mentioned.  Plus there are surely many other resources
we could use.  We may be able to get a good set up with some added
hardware-store items or we may need some specialized parts.  I am pretty
sure it ain't rocket science.

But we need someone to act.  To actually do something.  To get the
wheels turning.  In a fairly short time frame since our professional
demo is 11 days from now, August 19.  We owe it to our members and our
demonstrators to get it done.

James, please call a work group, or authorize some one to start the
process, or order materials or something tangible.  There is not a lot
to be done, I think.  But we gotta do it.

Members, if a call for a work group comes along, PLEASE make yourselves
available to help if at all possible.

John
