I spoke with Chuck Grimm at the Drozda demo on Saturday, he told me he 
has a friend who has some cherry burls he is wants to sell. The email

below.  Contact him if interested.  I think he is in south eastern 
Minnesota.

This is not a club event, just me passing a word along to you,

    of the burls are not cut yet and are still in living cherry trees.

    Note some large burls are nasty inside.   Phil has access to a saw
    mill and he can arrange to get them slabbed and anchor sealed, but
    before he does anything he would like to talk to see what people are
    interested in and the size, i.e. if they want to "see the eyes or
    the streaks of the burl"

    Please contact Phil if you are interested in a few or a pickup truck
    load of burls.
