I had someone bring me some Olive Wood logs, 3-8 inches is diameter.  He 
wants me to make some crosses for him.
The wood is green (about 20 per cent moisture).  How do I get this wood 
dry enough to not crack when I cut it into slabs 1/2 inch thick.  He 
wants this done by May.  Thank you for your input. Merlyn
