[Crw-talk] News Flash - October 12 Maplewood Assisted Care Event, Viroqua, WI.

Hi All,

This is a heads up for your consideration. I will mention again at
tomorrow's meeting. 

The  club has committed to demonstrating woodturning for the public at this
event. Participating in this venue  is another opportunity for the CRW to
educate the public on the craft/art of woodturning. The event runs from
10:00am - 2:30 pm, with setup starting 8:30 am.  The facility is located at
620 So. Garfield Ave, Viroqua, WI.

The Quilt show is a fundraiser for the assisted care facility, so there are
a fair number of people attending the event throughout the day. Last year
the club had 4 or 5 members demonstrating on two mini lathes; making and
giving away some items, such as pens and small bowls. The club will do the
same this year. We need your help and encourage your participation if you
are free this Saturday.  If you are able, please sign up on the Maplewood
Signup sheet at this month's meeting.
