[Crw-talk] CRW September Tool Raffle - A fantastic offering

Hello members, 

Fall is in the air, and just around the bend is the September tool raffle at
the Saturday's club meeting.  If you have not looked already, feast your
eyes on the this wonderful selection of  the 3 Hunter mini hollowing tool
set with cutter removal tool, designed by Mark St Leger and the 8 sea
urchins.  The tool set is designed for hollowing small hollow forms, such as
vessels,  or other items a maximum of about 3 in. tall. The set retails for

The beautiful  urchins seashells were selected by Duane Hill.  Notice the
gorgeous shapes and colors (I believe Sputnik, Alsphonso,  and colors of
green, purple, white). Looking online, this selection probably retails for
about $15-$20. These will make beautiful ornaments, ideal for Christmas
presents or to decorate your own tree. See red background picture below from

Our own master turner and teacher, Duane Hill, will be demonstrating the
making of various Christmas ornaments at Saturdays meeting.

 

So folks, come to the meeting, enjoy some coffee, refreshments and spend
some moola to purchase your raffle tickets at the usual price.  $5 each or 5
for $20.00. What a deal.   

There will be one very lucky winner, it could be you!  

 

It is important for members to know, the tool raffles help augment costs
related to running this wonderful Coulee Region Woodturning club. The club
membership fee does not cover all of the associated costs, so as many
organizations do, we also do fundraising, which is important to the success
of this wonderful club. We usually do this about 3 times a year.
