Subject: Donation inquiry for Coulee Region Woodturners
To the Coulee Region Woodturners,
My name is Cari Mathwig Ramseier and I came across your group in a La
Crosse Tribune article. I have an older 1940s Duncan Phyfe style table
with
a beautifully-protected table top (includes a leaf and pads as well).
However, the legs (double spindle) are shot.
See picture of similar leg (note: this is not my table):

This table has metal claw feet (some have fallen off, but I have tried
to
save them) as well.
Would the Woodturners be interested in a piece like this? Either to fix
or
take as a teaching piece (and sell at your discretion)?
I cannot sell this table otherwise, but feel the top is in good enough
condition that the table could be fixed and used again. We also have the
original chairs that go with it. I would be happy to donate this to the
Woodturners if you feel it could be fixed and sold.
Thanks for your consideration,
Cari Mathwig Ramseier
