[Crw-talk] Holmen Bowl and Craft Supplies Order

Empty Bowls Project – We will be participating in the Holmen Empty Bowls 
Project again this year.  This is when Holmen High School Art Department 
has a soup supper in bowls made by the students and us.  The proceeds 
from the soup supper go to a local food pantry.  We are looking for bowl 
donations.  Bowls may be any size from 5” diameter on up.  They may be 
from any wood and should be finished with a food safe finish.  Make sure 
your name, the type of wood and the finish are listed with each bowl. 
The soup supper is typically the first part of December.  Therefore, I 
will need all bowls by the November meeting.  If you have any questions, 
contact Duane Hill.

Craft Supplies Order – We will again have a club Craft Supplies order 
this year.  The goal is to have the order delivered in time for the 
December meeting.  That way, Santa can be good to you with tools and 
such and you can have them for Christmas.  In order to do this, all 
orders need to brought to the November meeting.  If you will not be at 
the November meeting, you can e-mail your order to Duane Hill 
(wisawdust at charter.net) or drop them off at his house (808 Quincy in 
Onalaska).  All orders need to be in by the November meeting.  On your 
order, make sure you have your name, address, phone number and e-mail 
address.  Also, for each item ordered, we need the item number, quantity 
ordered, a description of the item (it helps if you use the description 
from the Craft Supplies catalog), the page number from the catalog and 
the price.  I know this sounds like a lot of information, but it really 
helps when putting together the order.  As in the past, no money is 
required up front.  You will be contacted with your discounted total. 
You will need to pay before you receive your order. We need at least 
$1000 to get 10% off.  After that, the more we order, the greater the 
discount.  We will also get free shipping.  We have typically received a 
12-15% discount on our orders
