[Crw-talk] Terrible Tragedy and safety reminder

It is with a heavy heart that I'm writing this email.  Joan Kelly, a turner
from Memphis, was hit in the head when a bowl blank shattered almost two
weeks ago.  She was found on the floor of her shop by her husband.  She
passed away early this morning.  She was unconscious since the accident and
the level of injury was too great for her to recover.  My prayers go out to
her family and friends during this tough time.

This is the third death that has been "lathe-related" in the last year and a
half.

Please, please wear your shields and watch your lathe speeds.
