CALL TO ARTISTS

BLING and Things: Jewelry and other Mixed Media



The Pump House Regional Arts Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin, offers the following dates for artists

interested in boothspace at the Pump House during the upcoming holiday sales season.



December 2 (5‐9 pm) and Dec 3 (12‐9 pm)

  Sale coincides with productions of Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors

  Cash Bar reception both evenings



December 9 (5‐9 pm) and Dec 10 (12‐9 pm)

  Sale coincides with Three Boomer Broads Christmas Show

  Cash Bar reception both evenings



Everyone is allowed one type of media.  If you want to apply for than one type of media you need to

submit an image of the second media and of your display.  You will be notified whether or not your

second media will be accepted.  Setup will be at 3:00 p.m. on each Friday.  Items may be left over

night but must be covered.  You are responsible for lost or stolen items.  You must teardown Saturday

after the show and remove all items.  Sale Booth fee $100 ($85.00 for members) for each weekend.

There is no commission on sales.



All booth areas are 7' X 7' X 7’ and you must stay within those dimensions.  All artists need to supply

their own set up.  There will be no wall space available.  Artwork is not juried but must be original in

concept and design.  Absolutely no kits or 2nd hand sales.



Deadline to enter is October 1, 2011.  If the application is received after October 1, you must pay an

$20 fee for late entry.  This fee’s existence is meant to encourage timely applications.  Make check

payable to“Pump House Regional Arts Center.”  Send check, entry form, and cd to Pump House

Regional Arts Center/119 King Street/La Crosse/WI 54601.  On outside of envelope please write “attn:

Marcia (Bling and Things).”



Website entry form must be copied onto a Cd. Include on the Cd an image of your artwork saved at

72 dpi (for website publicity) and 300 dpi (for print publicity), a 50 word or less description of artwork

written in the 3rd person, your website address if applicable.  If you are applying for a 2nd type of

media then you must also include an image of that and of your booth display.
