[Crw-talk] "Empty Bowls" Supper Donations

“Empty Bowls” Supper
with Holmen High
  School

 

            We’ve been
asked to help out the “Empty Bowls” supper at the Holmen
 High School with donated
bowls.  The bowls need to be given to
Duane Hill no later than Dec 6th, so they can be delivered on the 7th.  The bowls should be 5-6” in diameter or bigger, the wood species and
finish should be listed as well.  A food
safe finish would be preferred.  I’ll be
bringing a quantity of dried roughed out bowls to the November meeting for
anyone who would like to turn a bowl for the event but doesn’t have the wood
for it.  If anyone has finished bowls that are ready, they can be brought to the meeting on Saturday.  This is an excellent opportunity
for our club to “give back” to our communities. 
The proceeds from this event go to the area food shelves.
