I also believe that at the time of joining the dues amount are prorated for the next number of months left in that calendar year. IE: join in March pay dues equal to 10 months. <o:p></o:p></p><div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>I think gift, sponsored or scholarship memberships should be available as options. <o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>I know many clubs that membership requires a number of volunteer hours contributed per year. I would like to talk about this idea for next year.<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>Hours could be demonstrating, setting up av, writing for the newsletter, being an official visitor to another club, community outreach or other club activities. <o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>I think members have a responsibility to the club to actively participate for the betterment and growth of the club.
