I suggest a change to my previous days email in that if the
CRW membership insists on AAW membership for board
members, then the club may offer an incentive to those
interested in SERVING as an officer. The incentive could
come from the club Treasury which offers to pay the
membership rate for 1 year only for a digital membership at
$56.00 US for each officer. The full membership includes
digital and paper copy of the journal, currently at $68.00
US. This incentive would incur a debit from the
Treasury by $12 /board member for 1 year. According to the
former ByLaws and the Proposed ByLaws as attached to
yesterday’s email, this change would require club membership
to pass an Amendment to any ByLaws change.
50% of the eligible club members must be present and a
simple majority vote would stand.
