I am reminded that the AAW has detailed plans on how to make the boom that the AAW uses at all the onsite symposia. I’ve seen it action! Plans available at <a href="tiny.cc/boom">tiny.cc/boom </a> The journal lists cost for hardware bout $400, I suspect that would be closer to $500 in today’s dollars. I have not interest in making one, however, this may be a project the club membership or committee may wish to pursue. Hardware additional cost; monitor, camera, etc.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> As an aside, we have not had visual AV for several months now, however, memory fairly short lately, so can’t recollect last time was used, maybe Alan Lacer?<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Anywho, a quick and dirty would be to hang 2 of our existing analog cameras on the existing truss system, directly wire cams to TV’s via the RCA RGB/sound inputs on TV’s, 1 camera per TV. At least some visual would be available. Ability to hear the presenter, another story??? <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I think Lyndal is our presenter, been here several times, would be nice to give his expertise the due he deserves.
