Twas a fun challenge. My submission, using only the skew is attached. Tools used- large, beefy Lacer Skew (1 3/8), and Pinnacle Cryogenic HSS 5\8 (3/4) x 1/4. Wood used- approx. 6”long X 1” max diam, birds eye maple. Start and finish sanded with 320 grit. Finish- mineral oil and beeswax.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>If you can find the, at least 2, design or technic deficiencies, ya win the prize. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The home web link here shows a real pro using that amazing, mysterious traditional tool.
