<html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body dir="auto">Thanks Bob for the mention of his passing and your tribute to him. His visit to our club was before my time. I attended a demo of his at the Badger Woodturners near Madison 8-10 years ago and left some money behind for some of his tools as well. He was indeed a master. He could get the inside of a hollow form quite smooth with his cutters which are basically 3/16” HSS scrapers. If you have ever stuck a finger inside my hollow forms, the difference was noticeable, which attests to his mastery. <div>At times I considered trying to track him down for a demo, but that is now history.
