That was my first club meeting, I think. <o:p></o:p></span></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>All of us attendees were impressed by his skill, use of color, form and folksy way. Even purchased some his hollowing tools at that meeting. He was a master especially at green wood turning, mainly noted for hollow forms in which did carving on. <o:p></o:p></span></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>I've met him a few times since then at conferences and found him be friendly and helpful. His signature of selling his tools over years was that he “only sells the tools he uses”. <o:p></o:p></span></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Another stalwart of the community no longer with us.
