But I know artists who do that folk art painted wood stuff with acrylic craft paints use brown paper as a final abrasive. I think I will retry the brown paper technique. John</div>

<tt style="word-wrap:break-word"><div class="plain_line">Taking a rest from turning, I finished 4 of these side tables the other day. A friend gave me a mulberry log of which I had cookie cut at an Amish sawmill located outside EauClaire. Dried for about 2 years.</div>
<div class="plain_line">John Fisher used his drum sander to flatten them nicely. Poly finish and rubbed with brown paper after the last coat.</div>
<div class="plain_line">Considered addressing the crack with a bow tie or fill but decided to just leave it. The 20” legs online acquired online.</div>
