Last week I delivered the 3 wig stands I collected from the last CRW meeting to the Gundersen Cancer Center. These were very well received. The need continues as they continue to be given out to patients. A particular statement in the article stood out for me “<span style="color:#191919">Another nation-wide project is creating wig stands that attractively and safely store wigs that many cancer patients choose to wear when treatment causes hair loss. As with all other things they create, the woodturners put their best efforts into turning beautiful boxes and stands”.
