As you browse the schedule which is enclosed as a pdf document you will note we are planning an outdoor in person meeting at the Community Center Shelter for our June meeting. A member has volunteered to gather the cleaning materials required for in person meetings and all in attendance will be asked to utilize COVID precautions.

The Shelter has electricity so we are probably going to do a small Round Robin assuming we can wheel at least one Jet lathe out to the shelter north of the parking lot. Plan B would be to use the 120 volt outlet on the outside of the Community Center building, or if the Powermatic lathe is required, wheel it out onto the sidewalk next to the building as the power cord for it is probably long enough to plug into the 240 volt outlet we use for it inside. If we meet next to the Community Center, we will use the club's Easy-Up shelter and other members will bring theirs as needed too.

Jack expects to have the library up and running for the June meeting, most likely having members stepping into the building a few at a time to return and check out materials. The library staff will sanitize our materials as needed, and recently returned items will not be checked out again at the same meeting, instead they will be quarantined until the following month. It was not discussed; but is probably reasonable to do the same with tool loans.

So if you have borrowed items, plan to return them and check out more in June.

We had a very interesting demo by Lyle Jamieson on March 20, 21 people attended.
