Check out his website for info. Lyle's stressing the use of faceplate for safety & simplicity struck a note for me. His demo using it made it look so easy and using it would reduce costs, especially for a new turner starting out. Will I give up using my multiple 4 jaw chucks? Prob not! But, I will try to be more judicious in their use. I've had the experience of most; that flying projectile coming hell-bent for me outta that chuck, seemingly without warning!
