<body>Members, when the board met in a Zoom meeting last week, we discussed the idea that the Badger Woodturners are trying, having an informal discussion Zoom gathering once a month. That club will be doing it starting this Wednesday evening. We decided to give the idea a try. This would not take the place of our regular meeting.<div><br /></div><div>It will be a chance to chat, socialize, share woodturning stories, truths and even hold your latest creation up to the camera and brag about it just a bit. Perhaps you have a question about sharpening. Maybe the correct finish to use in a given situation. How to do whatever. Maybe you have an odd piece of wood and you want some one to help identify it. Just a chance to socialize with like minded people.</div><div><br /></div><div>James Bloomer will moderate the gathering and will send out a Zoom invitation. And by now most of us know the drill: Click on the line of blue type, your computer or device will likely already have the main Zoom program living within it's operating system, give permission a couple of times when little boxes show up asking you to do that. And wait a bit while your computer thinks about it. Maybe you will have to turn your mic or camera on but basically you "got 'er done!" Just like Larry the Cable Guy teaches us.</div><div><br /></div><div>James will make the call about the date and time so stay tuned, he will message us.</div><div><br /></div><div>(Don't forget, we will be having our regular club meeting on Saturday on Saturday February 20. Jim will be moderating that as usual and will get an invitation to us. More about that later.)</div><div><br /></div><div>Stay safe and right now, stay warm too. John</div></body></html>
