<body>Members, we are fixing to rock and roll, virtually. The club will be holding a virtual meeting via Zoom at the usual time, 9:00 AM this Saturday. So you will have to supply your own donuts and coffee. Watch and participate from your desktop computer, you will need a camera/microphone to plug into a USB port on your computer. (That is one of those funny looking little flat plugs and most computers have several plug ins.) Run on down to Best Buy or some electronic counter in places like Target, Walmart and so on to buy one. About $30.00 for a perfectly adequate cheap one.<div><br /></div><div>Or if you have a laptop, they have built in camera and microphones, that allows you to sit on your sofa with your feet up or to stretch out in the recliner.</div><div><br /></div><div>Tablets and smart phones work too. But the problem is they have a small screen.</div><div><br /></div><div>Agenda will be:</div><div>1, Pre-meeting socialization starting 8:30, or so. Sign into the meeting using the Invitation which will be sent out by either Aaron or James Bloomer. Chat and say hello to all of us.</div><div>2, Business meeting. James will moderate the business meeting just like any other meeting we have had</div><div>3, Instant Gallery. Have some of your recent work nearby and proudly hold it up in front of the camera and tell us about it. (A bit of bragging is encouraged.)</div><div>4, Virtual demonstration by Aaron Gesicki, a former member who returned to the area and re-upped in CRW. His topic has not been carved in stone, but will possibly have to do with tools, different tool materials from carbon steel on up and perhaps related topics. </div><div>5, Anything for thew good and the welfare of the club.</div><div><br /></div><div>One caution, remember if you attend using a portable device, DO NOT carry it to the bathroom with you. Seriously embarrassing consequences could occur.</div><div><br /></div><div>So please watch your email for further information, more info on using Zoom from our club experts and an invitation. (The invitation will be an email with a bunch of black and white type on it and a mile long line of blue type in the middle. About one half hour or closer to the meeting time open that email and click on the line of blue type, that will get you to the Zoom club meeting meeting. You will likely have to tell your computer to go to or open or download some things once you click on the line of type, that is legit and you need to do it. You won't be loading your machine up with garbage. Also you might have to click somewhere on the screen to turn on the camera and microphone. After you jump through those hoops the meeting will be live and if before 9 AM you can talk with others After 9 AM the real meeting begins.</div><div><br /></div><div>Hoping to see you all Saturday, stay safe, John</div><div><br /></div><div> </div></body></html>
