<div dir="ltr">Good Morning Turners, hope this finds you well. I would like to thank those that were able to attend our first Zoom meeting. It was good to see familiar faces again and share both our works and some tips for our new visitors. Hopefully we can have more onboard for the next meeting In Dec. <div>For those that could not make it, I wanted to pass on some of the information from the meeting. </div><div>- The officers decided to wave the annual dues for members for 2021. We only ask that when we start meeting in person again that members donate 15$ dollars to the club to help offset operating costs(insurance, subscriptions, and other costs). </div><div>-The board members present asked to be extended in their positions for 2021, John Griffiths volunteered to be program director for the year. Would just need to hear from John Fischer if he would like to stay on as VP. </div><div>-Duane has put out an email for the group buy from craft supply. if interested get your selections to him by Sat the 28th to ensure delivery and distribution by Christmas. We will be using social distancing and other safety guidelines so I ask patience with your order so we can safely distribute it on receipt. </div><div>-We are starting to explore hosting interactive demos for future virtual meetings. Many Master turners have turned to Zoom and other platforms to continue to teach the craft. Our new PD has already posted emails on possible demos. </div><div>-Please continue to share your works, either through the email or our Facebook page. If you are on Facebook and do a search for Coulee Region Woodturners, its the page that has our patch on a pile of shavings. Just another way to share your works. </div><br><div>-We will be holding board and general meetings through zoom for the foreseeable future. I have sent out some instructions on its use. Or, feel free to email me direct at Callousedhandswoodturning@gmail<br clear="all"><br><br><div>In Service</div>-- <br><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_signature"><div>James A. Bloomer</div>
