<div dir="ltr">Good evening, I have seen a few requests regarding using Zoom in general and as a possible use for us to at least meet virtually. I am definitely in favor of this. <div>For those unfamiliar with zoom and its use;</div><div>1.It is free to use and can be used on either a smart phone or computer.</div><div>2. you can either download the application/program or even just dial a phone # if you dont want to use data or dont have a data plan. (you would not be able to view any video just hear audio)</div><div>3, the free account allows up to 100 members and a limit of 40 minutes for a meeting. The next level allows some storage and social media streaming as well as longer meeting times</div><div><br></div><div>How it would unfold;</div><div>1.The host would set up a meeting and send out a link via email/text </div><div>2. you would click on the link(I would recommend that you already set up Zoom on the device of your choice to make it happen faster</div><div>3. depending on how the link was set up it should take you directly into the meeting. you can turn on a webcam if you wish or not. </div><div><br></div><div>If you go to the Zoom website it has walkthroughs to help guide you in its use. </div><div><br></div><div>I have set up a zoom account with pro already to host meetings. Depending on how the membership feels about its use after a few tries we can look into something specifically for the club's use.</div><div>I would like to try an officers meeting this thursday at 1800(6pm) and then a full meeting Saturday at 1000 to at least try to keep with our normal schedule. I will send out invites 1 hour prior. It will include all the info to dial into via phone(Chicago #).</div><div><br></div><div>Please let me know if this will work for both officers and members. </div><div><br></div><div>In service</div><div><br></div><div>Jim Bloomer<br>-- <br><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><div>James A.
