<p>The base shape invites the idea of carving feet in my mind. I've
done that on lidded end grain boxes, but never bowls. Worth a try.</p>

A friend gave me a Ginkgo log so I turned some bowls for his family. Pretty easy wood to turn. I was able to easily sand any imperfections. Finished with Watco Antique Oil Finish. Applied dye to a couple on the inside. Beal buffed.
