I think this would be a very beneficial project. If we have 6 lathes, we would 6 separate outlets, preferably on separate circuits. We run into problems with multiple lathes on GFI outlets. The setup we have at A-Line uses a 60 Amp 220 volt circuit. I have had up to 8 lathes on it with no problems. If we are talking 6 lathes and grinder, we would need something/someone to transport them. The lathes I have at A-Line weight about 150 lbs apiece. There are quite a few logistical issues which need to be worked out.

Duane

-----------------------------------------
From: "James Bloomer" <marine9096@gmail.com>
To: crw-talk@crwoodturner.com
Cc:
Sent: Wednesday January 23 2019 12:33:33PM
Subject: [crw-talk] Proposal for Ft McCoy

Good afternoon, I was able to speak to Ft McCoy about trying for a Demo/hands-on event on post. I was asked to write up an informal proposal for them to look at. I have drafted this rough proposal and ask for any additions or revisions needed since I have not had a chance to participate in a demo, so I may be missing a piece or two. Please suggest your revision on the thread versus the attachment so I don't have multiple version floating about.
