I will pass your request on to the club. I would think
someone might have the time to do it. I will let you know. The wood on the canoe
is maple with some stain on it. Glad you like it.

many thanks

Dear Jim, The day your canoe/kayak and 3 legged stools
arrived, both of my computers (lap-top at the dacha, desk top in Madison)
died, and only today am I back on line, so apologies for not thanking you
earlier for the magnificent additions to the Nor'twoods camp. What wood did you
use for the canoe/kayak? I love the grain, and the feel of it.
We are going to
have an open house for my husband's 90th birthday November 13th, and I'm sure
the cabin will be the star attraction for all the neighborhood kids. We
have moved back to Madison, so I can admire it daily! I do love
it!
I don't
know which of your colleagues built the basic structure, but if anyone was
inspired to build a rough church (just church, steeple, cross-shaped
window, and maybe 6 pews), I have more African American figures that would
love to inhabit it. One already has the pulpit! Similar scale to
the cabin, but doesn't have to be so big or ornately furnished. Do any
of your turners do commissions?
Thank you again for delivering the camp, and for the most recent
additions.
