The one from my Jet 1236 would be perfect fit, but that lathe will be finding a new owner in the near future (more on that below). I'd only have to make a new clamp plate for any similar banjo that someone might have laying around. Needs to be for 1" toolpost to fit the ones I have already. If you have one, send me a picture and name your price, I'll come pick it up if it suits me. Now, regarding the Jet 1236 I replaced, this lathe was purchased for me by Jim Cox a few years ago as a gift. I want to pay it forward and donate it to a novice woodturner who may be financially challenged as I was when Jim gifted it to me. I haven't figured out the best way to make this happen, maybe a raffle? Or a nomination of names, voted on by club members? I'd be willing to donate it directly to the club, and can deliver it up to the next meeting if that works OK. The lathe is in fairly good shape, not used too hard, but the Reeves drive doesn't engage very well at the low speed ranges. A good cleaning and lubrication will probably fix that.
