Art is an expert. These are turnings that don’t “turn” out. I had a shelf of shame but ran out of room.In the early years, my biggest problem was going through the bottom of bowls. Until I wised up. Or thought I did. After turning for 19 years, this walnut bowl sat alone with other failures for about a year. Lately, I thought I’d try to fix it. John Fisher kindly gave me a piece of spalted maple, so I turned a plug (inside view) and a resulting pedestal. Today, I applied the final coat of finish. Just needs to be buffed and then it’s done. Like Rich said. Don’t give up!!
