I have a jet bandsaw.? ?When I push the on button nothing happens, I push it off and on a couple times and it will come on.? ?Do I need to clean out behind on off switch??

Need to inspect/clean/?tighten? inside the switch box. There could be excessive foreign material in there, or a worn contact, or a loose wire. It might even be the wire ends outside of that box ? but less likely.

More than likely the switch. I had to replace mine at some point. The other to consider is the start capacitor on your motor. If it has one, it will be that added lump on the outside of your motor. These are electrolytic caps and dry out over time. If you jumper wires around switch and it starts when you plug it in then switch is bad.

We are going start a monthly sharpening shop at the next CRW REGULAR MEETING. I?ll show all interested how I sharpen, in seconds, without any jigs, fixtures, or doodads other than the tool rest in front of the wheel.

Please check your schedules.I need to firm up some people and lathes to use at the fair July 19 and 20th 2-3 hour shifts starting at 11 am .? ?
Right now I have a couple small lathes coming but hope to have everything nailed, or ca, glued, by the next club meeting.
If we want to grow the membership we need to get some interaction with the community.
