John, I would be willing to do something on either sharpening, shear scraping or threadchasing (you pick)DuaneSent from my Galaxy

Over the past dozen years that I have been in the club, the round robins have covered a myriad of topics: Vacuum chucking. Sharpening. Bowl turning. Pen turning. Pen finishing. Wood preservation with something on the order of "Cactus Juice". Maybe use of Carbide tools, or lapping the cutters. The topic does not need to be exhaustive study of every thing that has ever been written on it. Just covering some bases and doing the same thing a few times over while others browse, ask questions and show how they respect your process. A fun way to spend an hour or so-demonstrating or viewing. So members, please come out of the woodwork and volunteer to show us how something is done. We will set up club lathes and a grinder or whatever is needed. No TV or video, just lathes/machines scattered around the shop or commons so members may go from one to another at their leisure. The material may be wood or acrylic, or HSS if we are sharpening. If you have an idea of what you might like to demo, please let me know. I need to get this organized between now and the December meeting. Email me, catch me at a meeting, however suits you. Thanks for considering this proposal, John_________________________________________Use "Reply to All" or "Reply List" to reach the whole group, "Reply" goes only to sender.______crw-talk mailing listcrw-talk at crwoodturner.comhttp://crwoodturner.com/mailman/listinfo/crw-talk_crwoodturner.comCheck the archive to make sure your message was sent: http://crwoodturner.com/pipermail/crw-talk_crwoodturner.com/
