Ya Paul,  I  agree in concept.  For instance, due to health concerns I won’t be doing demos. I try to engage in other ways as possible and I know you do as well.  

I would like to think the club is welcoming to all interested in the craft. Thanks for clarifying your thoughts.  

 I wonder if others feel safe enough to share their thoughts.

It is not the cost of membership but the requirements of working a demo setup or any other thing.

Not everyone wants to be that kind of member.

 

They might then opt out of joining and the club losing there dues but still show up for meetings.

 

I hope this clears up my thoughts.
