Hello all,
Our March meeting is just a weekend away and we’re looking for some things for donations. Our club places an emphasis on community engagement and here are chances to participate.
One is wig stands. If possible please make one or a couple, or even a few up. One that has been made is an offset turned one, come to the meeting to check it out. I would send a photo of it, but my computer seems to have eaten the picture. (My computer are it, I don’t have a dog.)
Another thing we’ll be needing is tops. Lots and lots of tops, for the end of April at the Earth Day event where we will be demonstrating woodturning, chatting with people passing by and…guess what, giving away tops.
Lastly, Luther is having a fund raiser in the next few weeks and they asked if we could donate pieces for their auction.  So if you choose, you could consider a donation of a turning. Bring it to the next meeting.
