[crw-talk] Any ideas

This may seem a bit drastic, but I've closed up cracks by forcing
carpenter's glue (Titebond, etc) into the crack with compressed air (or
just blowing it in with a straw) then soaking the piece in water for
just the minimal time needed to close the crack. Put scotch tape over it
to keep the glue from seeping out. Of course, the bowl will need to be
resanded.
