FYI to all,

All board positions are open annually as they have been throughout the
history of the club. Am hoping for members with fresh new ideas to step
forward. I know there are turners or supporters out there that would make
really good officers for 2024. Turning expertise not a requisite, just
interest in turning and good organizational and leadership skill would be
helpful. I'm guessing current board members would be glad to mentor their
replacement. As a former board member, I'd be happy to share what I've
learned, lets talk! Also, lots of helpful info on club organization on
the AAW website

Don't need to hold AAW membership to be a club officer in any affiliate
club, it's not in the official AAW officer guidelines. Some misguided info
out there floating around.

Yup, I echo's John's comment bout Lyndal. His presentation will be good,
his last demo with us was stellar., some years ago now. Guaranteed to learn
something new!
