Members,

Happy second day of Summer and here I am pitching a Christmas event.
(Kind'a makes ya wonder, eh?)

We may be able to get into Norskedalen's Old Fashioned Christmas on
Saturday, December 3, 2022. In the past we have done Events at
Norskedalen outside or in a building with open sides during the summer
and fall seasons. These involved demonstrating with one or two lathes,
chatting with people stopping by the booth and selling pieces members
put up for sale. And ever so often we would recruit a member.

Sales made at these events include both items made by members attending
the event and items from other members not in attendance. Ever so often
someone will watch us make something then buy it when it is complete.
The club keeps 25% of the selling price, the maker gets 75%. Records of
sales are kept and the treasurer sends out checks minus the club's 25%
share. We have not done any of these events since 2019 due to the nasty
old pandemic.

Please reply if you would be interested in participating. Not asking
for carved-in-stone commitments yet but the board wants to get an idea
of we should pursue this.

Thanks and please let us know if interested.

John
