[crw-talk] Turning a Wig Stand

For all who are interested in this topic. 
 
There have been some questions about size,
shape, and what finish to use. 
The finish concern is interactions with the
wig materials over time. 
 
This is my opinion - I'll be using my rather

I choose the highest gloss version. 
I wipe on a heavy coat, let it sink in, and
then [10 minutes or so], wipe off the
excess. 
Next day, do it again, this time lightly
wiping on without any subsequent wiping off.
 
Two, or maybe three, wiped on thin coats
will suffice. 
 
In several days, it's odor free and hard. At
this point, it'll be good for many years to
come.
