My Name is Marie Anderson and I am a member of the Chicago Woodturners.

We are hosting a regional woodturning symposium in Northbrook, IL  July 29-31, 2022. I am writing to inquire if you would be  willing to pass along the information about our symposium to your membership.  I have attached a copy of our flyer as a .jpg or .pdf (it is in color and includes photos) to include with your newsletter or you can visit our website at www.turnonchicago.com or if you  prefer you can just use the following information to share.

Turn On! Chicago is a biennial regional symposium hosted by the Chicago Woodturners in the northern Chicago Suburb of
Northbrook. This year our feature demonstrators include: Andy Cole, Cynthia Carden, Beth Ireland, Eric Lofstrom, Avelino Samuel  and Jacques Vesery.  These are world class woodturners all within just a few hours of home. Three days of total immersion into woodturning includes 50 rotations, an instant gallery, a vendor area, banquet, auction of wood art, tools and supplies and even a peoples choice award from the items in the instant gallery. There will be a hands on pens for troops event, women in turning  meeting, and we will be collecting beads of  courage boxes to benefit Chicago's Lurie Children's Hospital. This is a great value  at just $265 (including Saturday banquet) and new this year we are including special youth pricing (for those under 21) of just  $40 (not including banquet).  Registration is currently open at www.turnonchicago.com

Chicago Woodturners are dedicated to promoting the art and craft of woodturning.  We strive to do this through all of our club activities including this regional symposium.  We think you will agree that this is one of the best ways to continue your woodturning journey and expanding your circle of local woodturning friends at a fraction of the cost of seeing each of these demonstrators separately.

Thank you for sharing this information with your club members!
