John, a couple of questions for you on this coming Saturday's demo. Is
the meeting going to be inside or outside? What lathe do you want me
to use? For platters, I would prefer the Powermatic, but could also
use the Jet. Just let me know.
Also, I have a friend wo works for Holmen library. She says they have
a glassed in display casethat is available in January and February.
Any interest?

 Opps, shoulda' looked at my email yesterday, sorry. 
 For everyone's information, Duane Hill will be demonstrating platter
making at the September meeting. And rest assured the demo will be
more then just making a piece of wood round and more or less flat,
Duane always covers both the technical and design elements and could
probably be persuaded to address the sanding and finishing aspects of
such a piece and it's intended use.  
 I am looking for some folks to volunteer for demos in the first part
of 2022. If you have even a tiny bit of interest in doing a demo,
please let me know. Don't make me track you down and conscript you.
