[crw-talk] warped knife blade fix??

This will be very difficult to do and keep it
looking flat and straight. Applying heat
won't help and will change the surface
appearance.

Was there some force applied to it while it
was stored?
Applying an opposite force may straighten it.
I am guessing it will need heating. I bet a
metallurgist could tell you.

Hi everyone,
 
I am working on restoring my parents wedding
knife for use for my nephew's wedding.  After
all of this time, it has developed a warp in
the blade.  Any ideas on how to fix this?
 
It is forged stainless steel and the blade is
about 13 inches long.
