Here is the Zoom invitation for the meeting I have scheduled.  I suggest
you just send the highlighted address to the membership.  I have a kind of
keep it simple approach. Attached is more info for those new to Zoom and
demo description.





For those that do not have the Zoom app loaded, they need to register a
zoom account. The link will also take them to the Zoom app store for the
free Zoom Cloud download.  They can do both download the free app and join
the meeting all at once.  This takes some time and requires people to fill
in email and password registration.



I also attached a zoom for beginners PDF to see how Zoom works once they
are in the meeting.

Woodturning club meetings have been canceled.  We are holding Interactive
Remote Demonstrations in the comfort and safety of your own homes.  It is
easy free download to join a virtual meeting.  Enjoy your time in the shop
by staying connected to your club.



Lyle Jamieson will be hosting a live, interactive demonstration of Hollow
Form Techniques the Easy Way, on Saturday, March 20, 2021, 9:00am to
12:00am Central time.  We will all be viewing and participating from the
comfort and safety of your own home, no meeting required. We will use a
group meeting software called Zoom.  This is live and interactive.  You
will see and hear his demo and he will see and hear you as you comment,
question, or live chat if needed.  Lyle will have immediate feedback and
respond to questions.



You need to do two things.  First, download a free application and second,
join the meeting.



You can download the free Zoom app ahead of time at www.zoom.us.  It is
free.  You can use your computer if you have a camera and mic on it.  You
can use a laptop, you can use a iPad, you can use your phone.  You
definitely do NOT need to enter a “free trial” for a paid account. No
credit card info needed.  However, you do need to download and install
Zoom. “Zoom Cloud Meeting” download.



On the meeting day join a meeting by clicking on the encrypted link. Fast,
best, and easy way to the meeting.  Or open Zoom first and use the Meeting
ID and Password.   Follow the prompts to join, join with audio, and join
with video.  The meeting will be open at 8:30am and the demo will start at
9:00am.
