Members, here is what we all have been waiting for.  Our club meeting this coming Saturday will be a virtual meeting featuring Lyle Jamieson.  It will be free to everyone on the CRW mailing list and CRW is paying for this.

He will demonstrate deep hollowing.  His demo will begin as close to 9 AM as possible, and will last 2.5 hours.  He has attached four things in the email he sent me, and they appear above, a description of the demo, a live photo of tool storage, Bio information and a very useful introduction to Zoom. 

Look below the green type as you scroll down in his email which I have forwarded to you.  There will be information in blue to enter the Zoom meeting.   Follow the instructions and give your computer a bit of time to think, agree to a couple of boxes that will pop up, and sooner or later you will be at the meeting.  Keep in mind that one of us will be the first one in the meeting space and if so, there won't be much on your screen.  But as others join, it will take shape.  

He will open the meeting at 8:30 AM Saturday March 20 Central time for us to have some social time and the briefest of business meetings.  At our end, James will moderate, conducting whatever business we need to address and will manage the questions and answers for Lyle.

So see you all about 8:30ish Saturday.  It should be an excellent way to spend a Saturday morning.  Any questions, contact myself or another board member.

Here is the Zoom invitation for the meeting I have scheduled.  I suggest you just send the highlighted address to the membership.  I have a kind of keep it simple approach. Attached is more info for those new to Zoom and demo description.  

For those that do not have the Zoom app loaded, they need to register a zoom account. The link will also take them to the Zoom app store for the free Zoom Cloud download.  They can do both download the free app and join the meeting all at once.  This takes some time and requires people to fill in email and password registration.

I also attached a zoom for beginners PDF to see how Zoom works once they are in the meeting.

Lyle Jamieson will be hosting a live, interactive demonstration of Hollow Form Techniques the Easy Way, on Saturday, March 20, 2021, 9:00am to 12:00am Central time.  We will all be viewing and participating from the comfort and safety of your own home, no meeting required. We will use a group meeting software called Zoom.  This is live and interactive.  You will see and hear his demo and he will see and hear you as you comment, question, or live chat if needed.  Lyle will have immediate feedback and respond to questions.

You need to do two things.  First, download a free application and second, join the meeting.

You can download the free Zoom app ahead of time at  <http://www.zoom.us> www.zoom.us.  It is free.  You can use your computer if you have a camera and mic on it.  You can use a laptop, you can use a iPad, you can use your phone.  You definitely do NOT need to enter a “free trial” for a paid account. No credit card info needed. On the meeting day join a meeting by clicking on the encrypted link. Fast, best, and easy way to the meeting.  Or open Zoom first and use the Meeting ID and Password.
