[crw-talk] Membership listing

Members,

I was not in the club in 2006 so no experience in that regard.

I do know that listing email addresses is a topic our membership feels 
strongly about.  It came up during my presidency and what we ended up 
doing was creating a voluntary list of members with email addresses for 
those who chose, I think maybe about 70% or so of us signed up for that. 
  And during my 11 years as a member it has surfaced other times too.  
But other lists have been a one time thing.  In fact, it might be worth 
re-doing again, ON A VOLUNTARY BASIS.  Jim Frank was kind enough to 
develop that voluntary list back when I was on the firing line.

The club's official listing of members is only avilable to board members 
so as to maintain individual member's privacy; the club needs to be able 
to communicate with members on official business and avoid breaking the 
privacy of anyone.  So that is why on the CRWTalk email address it goes 
to all members but does not list the indivivual emails.
