Good afternoon, reminder that tomorrow is the hands on pen turning demo at
Luther HS.
the timeline for tomorrow;
12-1230 arrive at Luther
1230-1300 setup
1300-1500 quick safety brief and start turning.
We will be guiding the kids as they turn their own pens.
Thanks to Jay for drilling and prepping the blanks ahead of time.
Mr. Larsen the instructor anticipates no more than 30 kids tops.
If anyone can swing by and assist with mentoring, assembly or just taking
pics for the Facebook/website/newsletter during that time would be much
appreciated. We should have 5-6 lathes there. The school is providing
sandpaper.
In other news we are also meeting with Holmen HS for a possible
similar demo/hands on scenario. I will have more info on saturday.
