Friends, 

To continue the discussion, here is a screen shot from the AAW journal Aug 2021, on a club challenge the Atlantic Shore Club  (ASWT) did recently. Interesting article BTW as the article mentions tying club challenges with a charity drive.  

Well, its food for thought as we continue.  As John G mentioned awhile back, thank you Pam Day for bringing this wig stand idea to the club.  Also, thanks to Bob P and Dan W for sending their picture recently to the CRW mail server.   

I’m hoping to join the cause as I continue to recover.

I have contacted the Cancer Center at Gundersen Medical Center, they are interested in receiving the stands we make. My contacts’ response when I inquired was “This would be amazing”.  
Folks, this is a wonderful cause and the wig stands will be greatly appreciated by the cancer patients who receive them.  Something about receiving something lovingly made from local artisans I’m sure will be special as these folks continue with their cancer treatment and recovery.

Collection of the stands information to follow, down the road in the very near future. 

 

Seems like I heard or maybe it’s an idea that the club may conduct a club challenge to make stands?
