Good day Members

Our May meeting is sneaking up on us and we will feature Mike Peace 
coming to us live over Zoom.  He will demonstrate embellishment of our 
turnings from his shop in Georgia.  He has published several articles in 
the American Woodturner and is well known for his You Tube videos as 
well.

Scroll down to his email below for the long line of blue type. and click 
on that from 8:30 AM, May 15 and on for socialization, virtual coffee 
and donuts.  James will moderate questions and answers at the CRW end 
and Mike will take questions during his demo.  Only problem is, he can't 
pass around his tools and pieces of wood like we used to do.  James will 
also discuss announcements and club business matters before the demo 
starts at 9.  The demo will last about 2 hours.

  If you are new to Zoom, download Zoom.us to your computer between now 
and the meeting.  Zoom is secure and only people who get this invitation 
will be able to attend our meeting.  And remember, when you click on the 
line of blue type your computer will have you click accept or agree to a 
couple of things as it sets up Zoom.  Kinda' keeping it safe, you know.  
Oh yes, if you have a desktop computer without a camera, you can buy one 
for ~$30.00 that plugs into a USB slot in your computer.  And laptops, 
tablets etc. usually have a built in camera.

So keep track of this email and see you bright and early on May 15.  Any 
questions, give me a holler.
