Re: Decembre event, in my humble opinion, I feel we need to see how the Covid thing pans out. With a potential surge in variants, the old normal may be history in itself. In my view,  as much as I enjoyed our past Potlucks,  food sharing through pot luck is not a good idea, kinda like buffets! With all the crowding around the food trough, and pawing hands  handling serving utensils, not my picture of a safe group food event. And, of course to current CDC guidelines at the time.
Please consider this option, Catered food & cater served, though expensive may be an option. We could charge a partial fee per attendee, appeal to the board for a cost share, Ie., membership sign up in advance so to plan for food, each attendee  pay 50% of the cost.  
Also, maybe some kind of presidents turning challenge, our usual show and tell table, stuff to unload, aka, sell your no longer needed/ or old stuff!  
Pres challenge- how bout christmas tree ornaments, holiday decorations or similar?  Maybe vote for top 3, in categories according to years turning, to make it more fair to newer turners. And maybe limit to items made this year. Just a thought!

  Good morning members.

All the club news you need right now is enclosed.  I have the demonstration schedule for the year filled with the exception of July and December.

July, we just have to find a topic and someone to do it.  Also make the decision closer to the meeting time whether to have it outside or inside.

December I made the assumption we would do a potluck Christmas Party but that is not carved in stone.  Should we continue with the Christmas potluck or should we have a demo?  The Board will value your input so reply with your thoughts.
