My man, you did well.  Just a lovely piece of wood, you certainly knew when to stop turning parts of it away.  That is always my fear, that I turn away too much and ruin the shape or blow it up.  Thanks, John

This is the best I could do. It is hollowed, has 5 coats of Minwax Antique Oil Finish applied, and buffed. Stands 10 inches tall. Keeping as a reminder of our lilac tree we had since we moved in 30+ years ago.
