> I hope you and your friends and family have been well. You are the contact I have for the Coulee Region Woodturners, but if there is someone else within the organization who is responsible for coordinating events, could you please pass this information on to that person?

> I wanted to get in touch with you about our Old-Fashioned Christmas event. Because of COVID-19 and for the safety of everyone, we cannot celebrate in our usual style. So to make an event as safe as possible, we are planning an outdoor alternative to enjoy the Christmas season.

> Holding a Julemarked (or Christmas Market) during Christmastime is a common tradition in Norway. These themed markets offer a range of items from traditional foods to specialty folk arts and crafts. This year Norskedalen wants to be a part of that tradition by hosting a market that features hand-made gifts and Norwegian baked goods. Our Old-Fashioned Christmas Julemarked will take place in our open-air pavilion on December 5 (x-apple-data-detectors://5)th (x-apple-data-detectors://5) from 10am – 3pm (x-apple-data-detectors://5). At this event, visitors will be able to purchase Christmas gifts from local vendors, enjoy our property through self-guided tours and hikes, join in on a hunt for the yule log, and have their kiddos write letters to Father Christmas!

> We are currently looking for vendors for the Julemarked and would like to invite the Coulee Region Woodturners to take part in the event. The vendor fee for this event is $50. Vendor booths measure 16’x8’ and include three picnic tables to be used how you choose. If you wanted to bring a lathe, we could work to accommodate that. Because of the size of the pavilion and distancing guidelines, there is a limited amount of vendors that can participate.

> Norskedalen is committed to the safety of staff, volunteers, participants, and guests. The COVID-19 guidelines in place at the time of the event will be followed and face coverings will be required.
>
>
>
> Our Christmas event serves as one of the annual fundraisers for Norskedalen and all proceeds from admission and vendor fees are invested into education programs and the preservation of countless historic objects and buildings that are cared for by Norskedalen.
